Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800C0E
Socket Error: 10060
I’m currently using Windows Live mail 2011 and I have switched from Windows mail which had worked for me perfectly. However, upon switching to Windows Live mail 2011, I discover this error after several weeks of good usage.
Windows 7 unable to send emails from windows live mail but can receive emails. comes up with live mail error id: 0x800ccc0e port 25 and socket error 10013.
I am unable to receive email with Windows Live Mail. I get the message "You are currently working offline. Would you like to go online now?" I check Yes, but get the same message twice. After the third time I get the message "There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service.
If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative." I am able to receive and send messages through the comcast.net website but want to be able to use Live Mail as I have in the past. I just began having this error two days ago.
For quite a long time now, I've been unable to sync my email via Windows Live Mail. Everytime I try to send and receive, I get this error message, I tried googling the problem, the only solution I found was to due a registry scan + fix, which I did with Auslogics, but it's not fixed it.
All the other problems I found were slightly different to mind and were usually unsolved.
Full error message (email censored):
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co (X) account.
Server Error: 0x80072EFE
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFE
I have just started using Windows Live Mail a few weeks ago. I sent a mass email out to a bunch of people regarding a club event. A message pops up saying: The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email server might need to be configured.
To find the server settings for 'email address', Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800C79
Now every time I exit Windows Live it says you have unsent messages in your inbox, do you want to send them now? When I push yes, the same message as above comes up. And when I exit the program and restart it, I cannot send emails but I can receive them.
New Dell Laptop 8 GB with Windows 7 64 bit, SP1 and all updates installed.
Started Live Mail 2011 and created an e-mail account. Can successfully send E-mails, but cannot receive any. During Send/Receive process, there are no error messages. In account setup, used the same email addresses, passwored, and Incoming/Outgoing server data that I use in another laptop and two desktops (all with Outlook 2007 as mail client). Have checked spellings, et. al., and they match.
After failure, changed my password to see if error occurred - it did. Then did the same with incoming server. Got "unable to connect" error, so that indicates that I did spell things correctly. I also deleted and re-added the account.
I do not have a Windows Live ID, but Live Mail FAQ says one is not needed.
Some Google "hits" suggested turning off security. I use Norton Internet Security 2012, and suspended its firewall and anti-virus. Made no difference.
Unable to delete email in windows live mail POP account Windows 7 64 HP with all current updates. Have many emails that I am unable to delete in two different computers. Today I deleted a bunch of emails and was working on a reply email when my computer suddenly reobooted to install windows updates.
Upon reboot, email I was sending was no longer there but emails I had deleted were back and am now getting error box "Windows Live Mail" " An unknown error has occured".
Unable to delete, move, copy, view, etc. Almost as if email has been deleted but it is still listed as being there in message list. Now have almost two pages of emails in message list that I am unable to get rid of.
My internet provider has changed my email address but when I went into windows live mail (my email client) to change all the settings and also change my address, I now don't get any emails in windows live mail. I can go into my webmail and receive mails but not with windows live mail when I try to use my new email address.
I thought maybe my windows live mail is corrupted so I went into windows live essentials to do a repair and also deleted windows live mail and did a reinstall of the program in windows live essentials but still can't receive mail.
I am using Windows 7 [x64] and Windows Live Mail. When I receive an email with pictures embedded in them I can read them fine, but when I go to forward I get this message: One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found.
When you send this message these pictures will not be included. Are you sure you want to send this message?" I have already turned off firewalls and my anti-virus with no remedy.
I also Live Mail Options/Mail/Compose and UNchecked the Photo emails box, closed WLM and opened it again, but still have the same problem.
I've had all the Windows OSs and now have Windows 7 64-bit Pro and use the resident email client Windows Live Mail. I haven't merged any other online email accounts with Live Mail. I looked for a specific email for a purchase I made in 2011 only to find that I have no emails for 2011 at all - none.
I only have emails from 2012. I want to keep many travel and purchase emails. I have tried to research this issue and read that Windows 7 Live Mail automatically archives older emails but despite following the path provided, I could not view any old emails from 2011 or before.
What can I do to retrieve all my old emails and bring them back to my current Windows Live Mail? What can I do to prevent the 2012 emails from being archived, removed?
