Run-time error '430': Class does not support Automation or does not support expected
How to solve this problem.
Thank you for taking the time to report an issue.
What's wrong... Please write below.
I just wonder if any of you experience this error before: When a .mde created in Access03.sp2, being opened with the latest AccessRunTime 07 in Win7.32bit.
The exact error message is Err=430, Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface.
1 On other PCs with the same configuration, this .mde do not cause this error.
2 If the .mde is created in Access02.sp3 in xpwin.sp3, it runs ok in the problem PC.
Any idea what is happening in the problem PC? I seem to have my fair share of Err

It works in full access 2010. Has there been a change of policy to restrict this type of connection in the 2010 runtime?
If I use a linked ODBC table instead of ADODB the runtime fails with "Runtime Error". It still works in full access.
Acutally the problem is not with autoexec macro because if I change the macro to open a form, then there is no problem. How can I solve this problem?
I have not made any changes to the adodb functions

An .mde created in Access.03 when run in Office.07 Access gets into a Automation Error. No such error exist when the same .mde runs in WinXp.SP3.
Some questions I hope to get some answers.
1 What is the significance of this error?
2 Is win7 or .64bit causing this error to occur?
