What's wrong... Please write below.
A homegroup is a group of computers on a home network that can share files and printers. Using a homegroup makes sharing easier. You can share pictures, music, videos, documents, and printers with other people in your homegroup. Other people can't change the files that you share unless you give them permission to do so. You can help protect your homegroup with a password, which you can change at any time...
After someone on your network creates a homegroup, the next step is to join it. You will need the homegroup password, which you can get from the person who created the homegroup. When you join a homegroup, all user accounts on your computer become members of the homegroup. Watch this video to learn how to join a homegroup.
First of I am having the same issue as one of your members had before but the links to resolve the problem were taken down here is the link:
I used a program to change the default icon on programs and I made a mistake when I changed the default icon for the .exe not knowing that all the icons on my desktop would look the same now since they are all .exe.
I can't do a system restore and I need them to go back to default I am running Win 7 64x Pro
When you create a homegroup, a password is automatically assigned, but you can change it later. Watch this video to learn how to change a homegroup password.
If you decide that you no longer want to belong to a homegroup, you can leave it by removing your computer from it. After you leave a homegroup, you will no longer be able to access files and printers other people have shared with that homegroup. If everyone leaves a homegroup, it will no longer exist. Watch this video to learn how to leave a homegroup.
HomeGroup makes it easy to share pictures, music, documents, videos, and printers with other people on your home network. When you set up a computer with this version of Windows, a homegroup is created automatically. But you can also create a homegroup by following these steps: Watch this video to learn how to create a homegroup.
