Simulating A Running Fan Using Reactor (Motor) in 3DS Max 3D Studio Max / Miscellaneous
This tutorial will explore one of the many functions of Reactor in 3DS Max, which is a powerful tool that lets us simulate various real-life physics so that we can, for example, simulate physical behaviours such as wind, wheels and motors. We will learn in this tutorial how to create a simulation of a fan with the help of the Reactor Motor, Point Constraint, CSolver, and the Rigid Body Collection. I will show you how to use these reactors to create an animation similar to the one you see below.
Polygon Modeling: 7 - Car Body 3D Studio Max / Modeling
The modeling of the body of a car can almost always be sliced up into different parts, literally and figuratively speaking. Litereally because most of the time the front and rear bumpers, the entire'cockpit', mirrors etc. are all loose parts.
Generic 3D Game Dude 1 - Modelling the Body/Legs 3D Studio Max / Character Modeling
This tutorial is going to go through the process of creating a generic character for use in Game Engines Such as Blitz 3D, Halflife etc, Once complete the model will be available for FREE download. The modelling will done in Cinema 4D, UV's in Unwrap 3D and skin in Photoshop but feel free to use your preferred software.
Modelling a Mosque Dome in 3D Studio Max 3D Studio Max / Modeling
This tutorial will teach you how to model a mosque dome using three main techniques, (1) the box modelling technique for creating the base of the dome, (2) the lathe modifier for creating the body of the dome, and (3) loft modelling technique for creating the metal tip of the dome.
