Flash and DHTML layers for IE
When I was creating a website I wanted to use flash and dhtml together in one page so I didn't need some anoying popup to display some databased or extern data. But It didn't work right away. Why? Removing Flash Movie Protection
For an attentive study of the work of others, an analysis of their design decisions, understanding one or another moment when Flash technology was chosen in their designs, it can be quite helpful to download what you find an interesting Flash clip in an editor and scrutinize it in frame by frame mode. I want to warn you from the get go that this does not decompile an SWF file in initial FLA format, but nevertheless it gives sufficient food for thought while studying great work.
Protect your work, remotely!
Many flash designers have experienced the nagging feeling of uncertainty that comes with delivering some or all of a site before payment. While in an ideal world everything is solidly locked in with contracts, often deals are made via word of mouth, or the work is for a "friend" or aquaintance who may deserve more trust or special treatment. There's times where a newer flash developer may come across a contract-shy small-time client offering flash work which is highly desirable for portfolio, money, or experience reasons. Whatever the reason, covering your back end isn't a bad thing to do; and despite your best attempts, may become necessary. This tutorial assumed you know how to make movie clips and buttons, have a fairly decent grasp of actionscript, and are familiar with loading movies.

Flash movies aren't just moving shapes, text can be used to give an extra dimension. In Flash, you can adjust the font, style, size, spacing, colour and alignment of your text like a word processor. The text can also be broken apart into its individual characters and reshaped and what makes Flash soooo cool is that you can create editable text in movies which allow the users to add, modify and access text just like your boring old HTML web pages.
