Portraits Retouching Skin and Teeth
This tutorial will run through the basic process of retouching portrait photos and show you some of the techniques that are used. You can use these on your normal snaps as well. The reason the Pro models wear a lot of make up is to make the post processing easier, so its a balance of the two. Less make up means more post processing. There are many areas of portrait retouching so in this tutorial I will be concentrating on cleaning up and softening the skin and also whitening the teeth .
Portraits Retouch eyes
It's no wonder that the eyes are considered the window to the soul. They can give away your emotions and are, too many, a thing of beauty. In the world of photography and Photoshop one of the most import things to do in a portrait shot is get the eyes in focus. The are instinctively the first thing we look at in a portrait shot, both of humans and animals. If you get the eyes out of focus it can ruin the shot. However if you get almost everything out of focus except the eyes the image can still work. In this second portraiture tutorial I will go through 4 ways to help you retouch the eyes to make them really stand out using Photoshop.
Post processing: Get Vibrant colors without increasing contrast
This easy Photoshop post-processing technique shows how to transform a dull looking photo coming out of a digital camera and get the vibrant colours it should have. Most cameras, even pro's models, under achieve the colours giving the maximum possibilities for post-processing. With this simple technique, we're using Lab colors to increase saturation on all colors but not increasing edges contrast. It's best used in landscapes, cityscapes, still life and everything but it should be avoided for portraits, which look better (natural) less saturated.
Stylish glow effects
In this tutorial we will make a stylish glow wallpaper. Well in fact this wallpaper is, let's say: half abstraction so I really think that these kinds of wallpapers can be used for some design purposes or something like that. It means that you can take one part with some elements and use this part to make another design or background. I will also be building this design from scratch using some of my techniques.
