In this tutorial, you will be making a basic gradient background that looks like an inferno.
In this tutorial, I will show how I created the Rainbows wallpaper. First, create dark sky in the background. For that, set forecolor to dark blue and back color to black, switch to Gradient tool (G), change gradient type to Radial, and create gradient from bottom to top of document.
In this tutorial it’s my aim to take you through the process of creating a convincing 3D Glass Ball using basic layer styles and gradients. Firstly I created a new document (as above) and filled the background with a Radial Gradient using the Gradient Tool (G) set to the preset of Foreground to Background with White as your Foreground.
To start off with, create a new document, for the purpose of this tutorial I have chosen 500 by 200 pixels. Fill the background with a radial gradient from a medium-dark grey to a darker grey. You can do this by selecting the gradient tool from the tool box and setting it to radial. Set your foreground colour to #45443f and your background colour to #31302c. Left click in the middle of the document, drag to the right and release.
This tutorial explains how to use Photoshop layer styles, filters, and brushes to create an awesome sparkly text effect. Create a new document that is 1350 x 1000 px. Set the Foreground color to #525252, and the Background color to #0d0d0d. Create a Radial Gradient from the center of the document to one of it corners making sure that you selected Foreground to Background gradient preset.
One recurrent problem that I personally deal with is making a new background match an old photo. Or, for that matter, any portion of a photo that is composited in. This is especially true if a photo has a definite texture. More often than not if this is the case, you’ll be replacing the background, as heavt texture is a booger to fix on something like a gradient background! Here’s an easy way to make your new background look almost like it was there when the photo was taken!
Following this tutorial, you will learn how to draw different shapes, apply gradient, blend different shapes in the background, and more all to create an abstract glowing background. So, lets start !
Today, the gradient icon is increasingly popular and today we will introduce the design process of gradient icon. 1. First, let’s look at the difference between the old gradient style and the new gradient style.
Start by creating a new document (600X650px). Create a new layer called ‘background gradient’. Fill your canvas with a radial gradient ranging from 003851 to 001a26. Now paste in your mountain range photo.
In this tutorial you will learn how to create cool engraved in stone text effect in Adobe Photoshop. The effect will be achieved with the help of Blending Options. You will also use Stone and Cracked Paint Textures (my own photos and unrestricted stock) to give your text and its background nice relief and texture. All Photoshop versions are applicable. For the Background I have used Sepia Antique Gradient and I have given its color stops in Step 5 of this tut for those whose Photoshop version does not offer this gradient.
