Windows Delayed Write Failed

One or more conenctions failed. You will have to connect later.
I have a new PC with 64 bit Windows 7 on it and am using 32 bit Access 2010. I have set up and tested all my ODBC connections (32 bit versions), but when I launch ACCESS I am unable to connect to anything.

All I get is - one or more connections failed. You will have to connect later.

But the dialog to actually enter the password never comes up - when I click connect I just get the above message.

Access 2003 Action Failed Error
I was in the middle of importing this massive spreadsheet that I've been working on, but I encountered the Action Failed message below. I've attached the action message in a word document. Prior to pressing the import button I had to update the file path, which I did last week. The import worked but after reconciling I noticed I had failed to update the profiles for new clients so after doing that I re-imported today. That's when I received the Action Failed error message. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can go about trouble shooting this

ODBC-Connection failed to sublist
I have an Access database that I upsized with the wizard wishing to continue using Access for the Front End. I want to be able to connect to the SQL database without having each computer setup for the DSN. I added this to the autoexec macro/converted to a module.

[code]

The error I get is ODBC-Connection failed.

For my testing I did create a DSN on this computer with this user that worked fine. Then when I removed the DSN connection and ran the databaseI got this message, ODBC-Connection failed, again.

I need an access programmer!
I have tried this programming thing and failed. I am now a desperate nobody! Is there anyone out there who can help. I understand scheckles may need to be used in turn for the favour but I need it. The app I want to write has multiple tables which need to be populated by entering data into forms. When records are exported the data is manipulated and a complete report specific to the reord is produced. Gulp.anyone?

Microsoft Access Datbase Engine 2010
I have an application that requires Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010. The application tries to install it but fails, I downloaded the .exe from Microsoft and tried running and failed. The message states "The installation of this package failed".

I have Microsoft Office 2003. I even deleted the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2007 from the Contral Panel and tried it but it again failed. Is it a permissions issue?

Open a report from MS-Access 2010 runtime version in vb.net windows application
In VB.Net, I am trying to open a report from MS-Access 2010 runtime version. But it is throwing error.

The error is

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {73A4C9C1-D68D-11D0-98BF-00A0C90DC8D9} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT:0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)

But in the full version of MS-Access it is working fine. How to fix this issue in the runtime version of MS-Access 2010 to view the report?

Windows7 ActiveX Control for Access 2003 won't register
for register of ActiveX for Access runtime on Windows 7?

I was called in to help another site with Access 2003 runtime.
There is a folder with ActiveX controls for calander, treeview, and several others.

The folder has a register.bat file that worked perfectlly on three other XP laptops. But, on Windows 7, the application failed.

Just to verify that it was the problem, the Register.Bat was not run on one of the XP portables. The error was exactly the same as the Windows 7 computer. After running Register.Bat on the XP, the Access runtime application worked just fine.

While this is probably a Windows 7 quesiton, it might be something that other Access users have encountered

Running excel vba program for second time is causing errors..
excel program when run second time from MS Access - fails giving object failed or method global row failed etc different error each time while stepping through code.
I think the cause is because of instance of excel is still seen in task manager process section.
