Another Err 430 Automation in AccessRunTime 07
gals

I just wonder if any of you experience this error before: When a .mde created in Access03.sp2, being opened with the latest AccessRunTime 07 in Win7.32bit.

The exact error message is Err=430, Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface.

Note:
1 On other PCs with the same configuration, this .mde do not cause this error.
2 If the .mde is created in Access02.sp3 in xpwin.sp3, it runs ok in the problem PC.

Any idea what is happening in the problem PC? I seem to have my fair share of Err

Runtime 2010 ADODB Connection failure
I have a routine which connects to MySQL database with ADODB connection. This worked in 2003 and 2007 runtime but throws a 430 error on 2010 runtime.

Error 430: Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface
It works in full access 2010. Has there been a change of policy to restrict this type of connection in the 2010 runtime?

If I use a linked ODBC table instead of ADODB the runtime fails with "Runtime Error". It still works in full access.

Access 2007 autoexec macro loading ribbons
I have an Access 2007 adp project that loads custom ribbon from SQL server when starting. I actually created an autoexec macro that runs a public function which loads the ribbon. The project adp and ade files run and load the ribbon without problem but when I copy the ade file to user machine running Access Runtime, he gets an error "Error 430: Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface".

Acutally the problem is not with autoexec macro because if I change the macro to open a form, then there is no problem. How can I solve this problem?

the below error suddenly appeared today.
Been using database for a few years, but lately started going back and forth between access 2007 and the older one.
(getting previous version doesn't help)

"The expression "On Load" you entered as the event property setting produced
the following error: Object or class does not support the set of events.

Object doesnt support this property or method
I am having a problem passing a object as a parameter to my AddCreditCardTransaction Sub within my CreditCardBatch class.

In my CreditCardBatch class, I have this sub procedure

Public Sub AddCreditCardTransaction(CreditCardTransaction As clsCreditCardTransaction)
MsgBox (CreditCardTransaction.CustomerName)
End Sub

In a module, I have the following code:

Public Sub test()

Dim obatch As New clsCreditCardBatch
Dim oCC As New clsCreditCardTransaction

obatch.AddCreditCardTransaction (oCC) << I get an error message here

End Sub

I get an error stating that the object doesnt support this property or method.

Any suggestions why I am getting this error. Can I not pass an object to a sub procedure in another class, and use the Credit Card object properties in the CreditCardBatchClass

object or class does not support the set of events
I have a database that is used once a year. It worked last spring but is showing errors now. I am using Vista and Office Professional 2003.

The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: object or class does not support the set of events. Private Sub

Here is a sample of the code that is causing the error:

rptSettlement_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_rptSettlement_Click

Dim stDocName As String
Dim stLinkCriteria As String

stDocName = "frmPrtSettlement"
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

Exit_rptSettlement_Click:
Exit Sub

Err_rptSettlement_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_rptSettlement_Click

The (mdb) does not work but the (mde) created last year works fine. How do I solve the problem so that my (mdb) file works

Transposing Data in Access?
I am stuck on a query. I have a query that is feeding off another table. The query lists "Code" as one heading and "Support" as another:

code support
abc Jennifer
abc Mark
cde Jeff
fgh Thomas
ijk Chad
ijk Ed

As you can see there is more than one "code" per support name. I need to see the data in the following format:

code Support 1 Support 2 Support 3 Support 4
abc Jennifer Mark
cde Jeff
fgh Thomas
ijk Chad Ed

There can be up to 10 Support names per code. Do you know how to transpose the data in this way

Run Time Error '438' - BackColor
I am referencing a variable for controls on a form and when this code runs I'm getting the 438 error (Object doesn't support this property or method).

I'm trying to highlight controls that are null and then I want them to turn white after they've been highlighted.

Executing update: Run-time error '3061': Too few parameters. Expected 1
I've got a form where a customer can place an order. now at the bottom i want to put an execute statement which will look at the product ID that has been ordered and make sure that it dont allow that one to be entered again. This is the coding I've got atm to do that:

The error message im getting is:
Run-time error '3061': Too few parameters. Expected 1.

Automation of Excel from Access; Run-time error '1004': Method 'Cells' of object '_Global' failed.
I'm using data in Access to populate an Excel spread sheet through automation. I open a form in Access (frmdlgDateandSelection_ExportTimeUsedWeekly), fill in the start and a stop date (txtStopDate), and the code populates the spread sheet.
One of the tasks that it does is to insert four dates one week apart in column A.
Sometimes it runs and other times I get this error:

Microsoft Visual Basic
Run-time error '1004':
Method 'Cells' of object '_Global' failed
Accompanied at the bottom by the End, Debug and Help buttons.

Form navigation error
I use macros to navigate through menu forms, so that I can close one form as I open another. (im sure most people do this, but I know others that don't close a form when another opens)

I keep getting the 2950 error message (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931407). However, the database is in a trusted location, and I have implemented the autoexec macro suggested in the microsoft support section to check this.

I don't get the error on all forms, only forms which display data. And this error has only occured since I redesigned the GUI to incorporate pop up forms, rather than fit to screen forms.

Automation Error encountered in win7.64bit
members

An .mde created in Access.03 when run in Office.07 Access gets into a Automation Error. No such error exist when the same .mde runs in WinXp.SP3.

Some questions I hope to get some answers.
1 What is the significance of this error?
2 Is win7 or .64bit causing this error to occur?
3 How this error related to OLE Automation reference that exist in the particular .mde

Object doesn't support this property or method error
I get an object doesn't support this property or method error when I execute this code.. The bold statement below is where the debugger focuses in on, all other code works...

Automation Error
I get the error on one of my forms which has two subforms embedded, which all run the same primary key.

I keep getting the error:

The LinkMasterFields property setting has produced this error: 'The object doesn't contain the Automation object 'Jobs."

Jobs is my main table and I can't get a proper answer out of Microsoft help with this error.

This pops up numerous amount of times until I have entered in the same PK in all three forms.
