Modify query to display data that ends on or after a certain date?

I dont know if this question has been asked before but I need a quick answer to this problem:

The database is complete and I am in the query but I need to display contracts with a specific contract date ending on or after a certain date.

the actual step is this:
"Modify the Current lessons query to display all contracts that end on or after 7/1/2010."

I dont know why but I cannot seem to think straight right now

Display records if updated on 2 days ago, 3 days ago or 4 days
I have a query which is based on a table which has 4 fields in which if a customer has been called within a certain date range it presents it.

So the 4 fields are:

Call 1 Date
Call 2 Date
Call 3 Date
Call 4 Date

I want it to present these records if call 1 Date is More than 2 days ago. If call 2 Date is more than 2 days ago, and the same with 3 or 4. However I also want it to only look at the call date on the most recent field. Otherwise if they have already have a call 1 date, its always going to be 2 days after that for any future calls. However, I want it tocall them after 2 days since the last call.

So it ends up being a system whereby The customer gets a call every 2 days until the issue is finally resolved (unless it has happened 4 times), in which we will close it.

Combos working together
Thus if I select Buy and a particular year in the second combo I get a display in my continuous form of all the stock I bought in that financial year and similarly with Sell.

The Year data for the date combo is derived from a Select statement at Row Source in the combo.

However no matter what I do I cannot get the display to fire off the buy sell combo (when I switch between Buy and Sell) If I set this combo to"Buy" the display responds to any year date I select in the other and also if I set the combo to"Sell" the display is also good.

But if I select a year date in combo 2 the display will not shift when selecting between either Buy or Sell in the first combo.

The data I am working with via a query relates to buying and selling shares and the record keeping of these transactions - in the table/query there are two dates a Buy date and a Sell date thus whilst there is always a buy date there may not be a sell date giving a legitimate null in the sell date field.

Display Text Date as MM/DD Unique Issue
I am linked to a protected table which I can't modify and I am trying to create a report based off of it. The field is birthday and it is a text field. Unfortunately the data in the table is 12/12/1973. I am trying to display the field in a report with only the month/date. I have tried formatting the field in the report with no success

Cross tab query solution
I have table Named OutStationTab having the data as below field

EName - Text Field
OsDate - Date Field
OsAmt - Numeric field

I want to make a cross tab query in which
RowHeading- EName
Column Heading- Expr1: Format([OsDate],"dd-mm-y")
Value- OsAmt

Note the data is entered from 15th Date of a month to 14th date of next month. One Employee take 1 outstation charges only in a day.

I am able to make the crosstab query and its working perfect. Like I filter the query (From 15-02-2010 to 14-03-2010), then made the CrossTab

query. It works perfect.
It does not display the date on column in which no one is on outstation. BUT my requirement is that to display like all the day like - 15/02 16/02 17/02 till.14/03 . It should NOT miss any day inbetween the

period.

so that all the date inbetween the start and end date should display.

And also how to handle report. As the month changes and date count/column also changes (like decrease/increase)

Modify query
How can I modify this query showing the results of 3 months data :

SELECT District.Id, District.Name, Data_SDP.[First Date of 3month period], Format$([First Date of 3month period],"\Qq yyyy",0,0) AS TreMonth, Sum(Data_SDP.Mg3) AS [Low Dose], Sum(Data_SDP.Mcv3) AS Pop, Sum(Data_SDP.Depo3) AS Depot, Sum(Data_SDP.DIU3) AS IUD, Sum(Data_SDP.Cn3) AS Apples
FROM District INNER JOIN Data_SDP ON District.Id=Data_SDP.Ref_District
GROUP BY District.Id, District.Name, Data_SDP.[First Date of 3month period], Format$([First Date of 3month period],"\Qq yyyy",0,0)
ORDER BY District.Emer, Data_SDP.[First Date of 3month period];

to a query showing 6month period date.

Query for Received and Closed Date Range
I built a report request menu to dynamically build a SQL query for Access to run a report. The user selects the parameters and the form builds the query on the fly and then changes therecord set for the report to pull the right data.

The query building was coming along swimmingly until the users requested a date range. I have a date range selection that can look at any cases within the date range. This part is not working currently.

This is what the form generates. Get all cases with these specific parameters within this date range.

[CODE]

The problem ends up being that I get cases with received dates within the range and closed dates outside of the range or vice versa.

2) Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Query Yes/No data via Forms
I want to create a form that a user can use to query my database. The user will choose a date range (BeginDate, EndDate), then choose which checkbox items to query for, TR11, TR12 or TR13.

Here's my table:
Date - Date
TR11 - Yes/No
TR12 - Yes/No
TR13 - Yes/No

Here's my form:
Begin Date ____
End Date _____

I created a form that properly queried the chosen date range but I can't figure out how to modify the query so that when the user checks TR11 on the form, and only the records that fall within the date range and contain a Yes value in TR11 will be displayed

Searching "Between Dates"
I am having some difficulty creating a query I was hoping someone might be able to help me with.

I have two separate "Date/Time" fields in a single table, the first titled "Start Date/Time" and the second "End Date/Time". What I am trying to do is create a query to search for any dates between the start and end dates.

Example: a job starts on 10/5/12 at 1500 and ends on 10/10/12 at 0600. I want to create a query that will give me results if the search date I am searching falls between the start and end date of any existing data. Also, I only want to search the Date WITHOUT time criteria.

Select query
I would like a query to display only the latest entry for a particular object but can't figure out the code.

e.g.

object 1 - date 1
object 1 - date 2
object 1 - date 3
object 1 - date 4
object 2 - date 1
object 2 - date 2
object 2 - date 3
object 3 - date 1
object 3 - date 2
object 3 - date 3
object 3 - date 4

From this I want to only display object 1 - date 4, object 2 - date 3 & object 3 - date 4

data entry form using date
The database contains a single table to record daily sales data. One record per date is allowed – so the date field is set as the pk.

The user wants to enter the sales data using form by selecting the date, (using the date picker as per the date control on the form - Access 2007)

When the user selects a date using the date picker on the form there are two options;
a) Data has already been recorded for the selected date – so the form should populate with the existing record – the user can edit the record if required.

b) No Data has been recorded for the selected date – so the form should display a blank (new) record so the new data can be entered and saved for the selected date.

I know I can easily make a form to display all of the records using the record selector but the user wants to use the date picker to select records.

I’m not sure if the form’s record source should be the table or a query based on the table ( should I be using a sub form?

How to modify this function to ignore empty fields...
Can anyone please help on how to modify this function to ignore empty (date) fields? Reason I am asking is some of the date fields are left empty and I am getting the error "Data Type Mismatch" when running this function in a query.

About structuring two semi-related queries to display information properly.
I have two queries that iw ill be using in a report.

Query1 has information on how the parts are built and their electrical yield; and Query 2 is information about the acid used to clean the parts mentioned above.

these two queries don't have a field that ties them uniquely, in other words, no field I can use for a type of join to properly display the information on the report.

About Query 1: in query one, I have a date/time field that, needless to say, records the date/time the parts were dipped in acid. this is done on a daily basis.

About Query 2: in query two we just store information about the acid, e.g. pH levels, concentration, etc. and most importantly, Date used in production. one barrel of acid may last 3 weeks or so.

In a report, but I am having difficulties tying in the data because there is no unique field unifying the two.

My aim is to have the correct acid information display for the date range of parts cleaned.

an example of a problem I forsee: acid barrels might be added, say, 5/12/12 and 6/2/12, but I want the date range view from 5/2/12-6/5/12. this means that for this date range chosen, there are two barrels, but I don't know how to set up a query that will display this information properly so that I can see what parts were cleaned with what acid.

Display Query field in form?
I have a form that allows the user to enter a start date and end date then a run query button. This displays a query that gives them the total records between the dates chosen. Instead of displaying the query in query form I would like it to display it in a form. The query will return multiple records.

Access runtime 2007 and 2 front ends
Two Questions: I think I am over complicating things with my database. If I have IT install Access Runtime 2007 on the users' computers that will have access to the database and I email them the application.

They should be able to open up the database with access to just switchboard that I have set up for them correct?

Second one: How do I make 2 front ends? One that allows you to add and modify records and one that only has access to queries and reports?

One form with 3 different options
E I have a start date and end date and a combo box. if the user enters only for the start date and end date , and clicks the run button, it must pull the query for that specific item and display the data in a report for that only.

if a user selects items from a combo box it must show only data for that specific combobox selection.

also if the user selects the start date and end date and combobox it must display for that selection.

As said before I am a newbie to access but I am catching on really quick.
