While executing a query in access 2007, I get the following error: "Data type mismatch in criteria expression" I am basically trying a union all query.

I'm receiving a type mismatch error when calling my Function. The Prioritization_Score field is a number of type Byte. Me.Saftey is a checkbox. When I debug the code Me.Saftey shows as either -1 or 0, Prioritization_Score = 100. But the Score(.) Function shows Type Mismatch. Anyone got an idea where I'm messing up

For some reason some of the records showup with the FileCount field having an error. When I click in the field it says "Data type mismatch in criteria expression." I assume that it is talking about the criteria in the DCount() function.

I am trying to run a query on two sets of data that are the same data type yet I get this message.

The change was formatting the [ACTION] field from an number to a text format.

This change has resulted in the following error:
"Run-time error '3464': Data type mismatch in criteria expression."

I have a database that is using GUIDs as Primary Keys. Unfortunately, when I tried to create a lookup combo box in my form, I got a datatype mismatch. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get around this problem, and my boss insists on using GUIDs instead of autonumbers.

I have written a function which is called from a query which displays the number of numeric entries in a text field.

For example:

CountMembershipNumbers("Selina, Sean, Bacon 1076, 1077 (YA)") returns 2

which is fine but I need to query on this custom field and this is when I get the

I cannot even query the value as text.

VBA Type Mismatch for link criteria
I have the code below to open a pop-up form from within a form but whenever the code runs I get Run-time Error 13, Type Mismatch.Both the EnquiryCatergory and TenderRef fields are text fields as are the Descritpion and Tender fields so why would I get a ype Mismatch. Also when I debug the error and hover over each element I get the correct info shown i.e. Me![Description] = "Paving" and Me![Tender] = "11N216".
