Only change font fomat in select words within a memo field
I would like to know if there is a way to change the font color only on select words or areas within a memo field and save the changes? So, if I want to either highlight or make some text red within a memo field how can I change the font format and keep it. This would only apply to the selected text within the memo field and the rest would remain the same default black color.

Is this an event procedure in VB that can be done?

How do I use a value in a column to make a textbox change color? I can explain what I mean:
Right now when a value in a column is supposed to be disabled, I have made the font color grey instead of black using conditional formatting. But this only works with the object it's connected to. So how do I do if I want do use col1 to control the color of col2?

Change font color in report
I have a form (titlepage) with a command button that prints a report (titlereport). The report has a text box that gets its data from a memo field in a table. I would like to add a drop-down box (fontcolor) on the form to allow the user to select the font color that would print in the report.

access 2007 some combo's won't keep same color formatting
I have searched for this, but can't find a solution that works.

I have 3 combo's all of which were created the same way, the 3 were added at a later time. When I added them I used the format painter to copy over the same "Look" of all the colors. well only the first of the 3 keeps the color you see when clicking the drop down.

In the detail section of my form I have it set to alternate color, on the combos that work, the font fore color remains the same as when it is not clicked, but the highlighted line of the selected choice will light up the font to RED. which is good. BUT. on the non working combo the font changes to BLACK for everything in the list, the color of the bar is correct but the selected shoice turns the Font to White! WTF, I have looked very closely at all the properties, there is no conditional formatting set. this is really annoying, I have my combos set to the perfect color

I know you can change the color of the listview font but is there anyway to change the font size and style?

Font Issue on Form that uses tab controls
I have a table that has two tabs for the user to click on. The problem I am having is that the font on the 1st tab and the 2nd tab look different.

I have checked under both font properties and verified that under both tabs I am using the following.
Font Name: Calibri
Font Size: 9
Font Weight: Bold

It appears that no matter what font I change it to there is a difference between the font on the 1st Tab and the on the 2nd Tab. It is almost as if all the font on the 2nd tab is a heavier weight than the 1st tab.

Disabled textbox font color
I have some disabled textboxes in my forms to prevent the unwanted editing of data in my tables.

I have been unable to figure out how to change the color of the font in a disabled textbox,

I suspect with many things in access there is an alternative to preventing the unwanted editing, adding etc. of data in a table that is also a better approach in the development of a database. At this time I do not know if any what that alternative might be.

MS Word Form - Adding Some Colors
I've been getting pretty decent at using my copy of 2010 Office. Starting to make forms using tables and such. But I still feel they lack some professionalism. I'd like to add some color to them. But not sure how to go about it. I mean I know how to add color to individual cells and change the font color.
How do you get the blue around certain parts of the form and not others?

Change Access 2010 Datasheet Default Font
Access 2010 keeps font size and weight 11 and Normal respectively, however, if needed you can tweak with the default font settings from Access Options dialog. To change the default font, On File menu, click Options. This will open Access Options dialog, from left sidebar, select Datasheet and from main window, under Default Font, you can change Font; Size, Weight, and style

Changing Font Color Based on Value
If I want to make the font color red (forecolor) red if the value of the text box is a negative number, what's the VB Code?

I tried If text.value < 0 Then
text.forecolor = vbRed

. . . that makes the whole box highlight red. Is there a way to make JUST the font turn a color?

If so, what's the correct way to write it, since "red" and #ED1C24 don't work?
