Can Virus Activity Corrupt Access Database?

Building an Estimating Database
I have two tables; Activity Schedule and Resources. I would like to add many different resources to one activity from the activity schedule. I think i need another table but i am not sure how to set up the relationships effectively.

Eventually i would like a form where it has the activity listed in the top half and the resources listed in the bottom half and some buttons where you would click on them to add the resource to the activity. This would then calculate the cost of the all the resources for each activity.

Database Corrupt?
I didn't change anything on my database and my forms were working one minute, What should I do? It is looking like something is corrupt.

After I post this I am going to try to import the database into a new database to see if that works.

VBA project is corrupt
When I'm trying to open my Access 2003 database - I receive this error: "The Visual Basic for Applications Project in the database is corrupt."

Corrupt DB
My Access 2010 database is corrupt and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of a tool that can be used to fix it.
I can open the database, but I can't open any table, form, module, etc. I also can't export, or import from another database.
Repairing with the build in Access repair tool also does not work. For all these actions the error window comes up with "Access has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Any third party tools that you know of perhaps

When selecting a value for one field how do you get other fields to auto populate
I have a form and a user selects the Activity Type. Each activity type has an activity # associated with it. I want the Item # to populate automatically when the Activity Type is chosen. I am pulling this info from another table that stores the info, which I use as a lookup.

How to Close access form after no activity
I have a login form for my access database to control user access to specific forms.

For added security I want access to set all active forms visibility to false and display the login form if there has been no activity in say 5 minutes.

lookup next ref on data entry
I'm having brain freeze over a database I am workin on and can't seem to find a way to make it work

What I'm looking to do is:

I have an account activity table that has an activity id, activity type (eg
invoice, credit note, payment, deposit etc etc), Ref and a number of other fields. The activity id is an auto number and what I want is to have the Ref to also be an auto number but be determined by the activity type so for example
I enter a new activity which for example is a invoice it looks up the last ref for an invoice type (type 2) and uses the next number - if I enter a credit note it looks up last number credit note as property type and uses the next number for credit note

I thought of using something like

on update

Me.Ref = Format(DMax("ActivityID", "Activity", Type= "2") + 1)

not sure if I'm on the right track would this even work

POPUP Submenu
I have three tables: Farm; Contact; Activity.
I need to document (activity) the when and why a salesman contacted a specific person (Contact) on a specific Farm (Farm).
Farm is one to many with contact
Farm is one to many with activity
Contact is one to many with activity
So I have a form with Farm as the master and contact and activity as subforms
This works great.
However, I would like the Activity Subform to popup/have the same relationships it still has with Farm and Contact. When the button is activate, I obviously would like it to contain the Farm ID and the Contact ID.
I can use a Command Button to open the form, but I can't get it to relate to the master form.

Form pull down not working when form added as subform
I have a form that I created so that when you make a choice in the first pulldown it affects what is displayed in the 2nd pulldown. I used the following code:

SELECT distinct [Symcor Activity].[Activity ID #],[Symcor Activity].[Symcor Activity] FROM [Symcor Activity] WHERE ((([Symcor Activity].[Service ID #])=[forms]![Benefit Projection Item]![Service ID #])) UNION select distinct null, null FROM [Symcor Activity] ORDER BY [Symcor Activity].[Symcor Activity];

This code works for the form itself but if I insert as a subform "Benefit Projection Item" into another form called "Project Benefit form" it does not work. The error message seems to tell me that the form "Benefit Projection Item" does not exist.

Corrupt Database: Possible solution?
I have a corrupt ms-Access mdb which contains many hours of development work. Arrgghh!

In the past I have been able to use the "/decompile" switch, followed by a repair and compact in order to get into the file. Indeed, even when I couldn't fix the corruption, I found that I was able to copy the components out of the file into an empty mdb.

But this time none of that seems to work and I keep getting messages like "The database 'c:\xxx.mdb' can't be repaired or isn't a Microsoft Access database file". A message which also appears when I try to import into an new, empty MS-Access mdb.

I really hope that someone out there has a suggestion for me (or a helpful link

Exporting to PDF via VBA Causing Database Corruption
I have a database that I have built that needs to export a large set of data to PDF for each county in Florida. If I manually export of these (without VBA code) to PDF, they work fine and my database does not go corrupt.

If I leave the code in VBA to export any county under 50,000KB, they all work perfect and the database does not corrupt. However, I have one relatively large PDF exports at 166,708KB.

As soon as I run the code to export this PDF file (and compact and repair my database thereafter) I get a error message upon re-opening the database stating that my VBA code is corrupt.

It then prompts me through some more error messages and it ends up erasing VBA code and any objects with VBA code attached. I'm just curious as to the reason why this file size is leading to a database corruption when it's coded into VBA.

Next Record that Matches
I have a table that includes several hundred thousand "activities", with fields like "Account No", "Activity Date" and "Activity Type".

From this I have a couple of queries that pull records where "Activity Type" is equal to "Letter", and puts it in another table.

I now need to find the next "Activity Date" for each "Letter" sent, where the activity is "Call In". I've tried several things, but can't get close to something that works, and I've searchedand I'm unsure if I'm just missing something obvious,

The activity table looks can have multiple activities for the same account, including multiple letters and calls, so it could look like:
....

help me in normalization
Having this table and ask as to normalized

Sign(MemberID, MemberName, ActivityID, ActivityName, SessionID, CoachID, CoachName, Day, From, To)

and this is the Scenario

The table Sign record the enrolment information of sports club members in sports activities. The information recorded are the the member name, member id, the activity name, the activityid, a session id that is unique within the same activity, the day, start and end times of the activity session enrolled, and the id and name of the coach supervising the activity session. Each session must be supervised by only one coach and the duration of all activity sessions is one hour.

Create multiple records/fields simultaneously
I am extremely handicapped in Access 2010. I am currently trying to create a database for a small company I am interning in. One of the things I would like todo is to update or create multiple fields in different tables simultaneously.

To explain, I have two tables, Production Activity in CY 2012 and Production Activity in $ 2012. Both tables have a field "Date of Activity." In addition to some other fields, ProductionActivity in CY has a field "Actual Production in CY" and Production Activity in $ has a field "Actual Production in $".

Now I had initially created two forms, each dedicated to one table, however my supervisor wants to use only one form to update both fields.

Corrupt Queries
I dont know if this is a virus causing this. I have a brand new database with two unrelated tables. One table has names, the second address. I run a select query using just the name field from the names table, and I get a list of all my names as expected. When I use the show tables button to display address table, with just the same name field being entered as before and with no relationships created, I run the query again and all my name records have duplicated! Just by simply showing an extra table in the query is causing this. Disturbingly - the problem has spread to all my other databases's.

Attendance Record
I'm wondering what the easiest way is to create an attendance record for my scout database. One of which I can create queries and recrods from.

Report Attendance record by Scout
Report Attendance record by Term
Report Attendance record by Date
Report Attendance record by Activity

Fileds I am looking at is

Date - Meeting date
Name - Scout Name, needs to be associated as a pull down list from scout name [scout input table]
Activity - Pull down box [Indoor Activity] [Outdoor Activity]

Just not sure how to do it

Access Database Corruption
I'm using win. 7 and office 2007 for my laptop, when I intended to open an old access database file I have the message "visual basic for applications project in the database is corrupt"
By the way, a friend of mine uses the same copies of windows and office for his laptop and this database worked very good with him
